Andrew Heubner vividly recalls the day he sat in a Toronto allergist’s office anxiously watching his eight-year-old son Jesse eat peanut butter.
For years, he and his wife Katharine had carefully kept their boy away from peanuts, knowing it could mean the difference between life and death.
